Summary of Trading:

Broke my rule of no trades the first five minutes of the session - and it cost me dearly; bad entries on $MNOV, just contrast those with the second trade (which should have been the *only* trade)

Glad to end in the green thanks to good trades on NYMX OGXI, but annoyed as without that silly trade at the open on MNOV i'd be up nicely today instead of having an average day.

Trades:

$MNOV small long in pre; in 4.50 out 4.78

$OGXI started small in pre, added para out the gate; covered when i ran out of patience

$MNOV picked the wrong side out the gate and got squeezed; shorted it again 5.10s, this is the entry one should have been patient for - made back the losses on the prior short, what a wasted opportunity though

$NYMX went long and closed it for b/e to go short

$NYMX tried twice more, successful second time around

$NYMX scalp short tiny size, 3 risk

Summary of Trading:

Mixed trading today - overall finished green which is good for a Friday ... HAGW

Trades:

$ITEK short
$ITEK long

$SLTD long twice, first time b/e, second time better

$EXEL short in pre r/g risk

$ACRX well, messed this one up, thought it would hold above 5 and wasnt quick enough to get out when it flushed - need to stop trading in the first 5 minutes

$IG long - nice trade

$ITEK long again

$NTLS nice setup, straight out of this post, although not day1, but same intraday setup; covered half for a nice profit, rest not so much; patience is not an easy thing to get right

$OGXI

$CALA - got me, wasnt an optimal setup

Summary of Trading:

Real slow reaction time with $ITEK out the gate - had orders ready to sell, didnt quite get there, and wasnt quick enough to change them. It luckily came back, but could have rode it twice if i was fast enough;
Otherwise good trading, all winners, nice gains today; will call it a day to protect them gainzzzz.

Trades:

$ITEK small long in pre on news; sheesh a bit more patience and it would paid for an entire week

$ITEK again - need to work on my speed, should have taken at least half off on the pop out the gate and then re-loaded lower

$EXEL played it thrice; first time nice trade, second time b/e, third one another small profit

$OGXI blarg was so patient but that big candle shook me out; not really liquid enough

Summary of Trading:

Sloppy trading today; seemed slow, intended to take the day off, instead I traded less than perfect setups. Didnt adhere to stops. Gladly I ended only mildly red after a second, more successful $SLTD short

Trades:

$BZUN chased some out the gate, looked like it had more steam. Indeed it did

$SLTD 3.90 was meant to be the stop; i really wanted to give it time to flush, but should have cut it even before 3.90s on that first or second vwap reclaim

$LOCK if only i had the same patients with my winners as i have with my losers

$ANTH "just in case it flushes" is never a good reason to enter a trade

$SLTD again - made some back this time

Summary of Trading:

Closed $GENE gapper and lost a few cents on $EXEL long

Trades:

$GENE had some long 3.50s over the weekend; sold in the 3.8-3.9

$EXEL in pre, they seemed to have supported 6, until they didnt; sheesh, glad i cut it quickly when 6 broke

$EXEL made back losses on long with this short:

Summary of Trading:

Amateur hour trading today - completely messed up $ICLD $VLTC, lucky to get out in one piece;
$ICLD I was so used to it fading that I shorted on a flat line instead of waiting for a spike; $VLTC I didn't react quickly enough covering on the dips and shorting on the pops;

Late in the day came $GENE and graciously saved my day, closed green, juuuuuuuuuustt.

Trades:

$VLTC in pre with 8.40 risk; if it opens strong i'll cover and wait for pop to 9, otherwise see if it fades and will add on pops

$ICLD tends to fade so took some in pre with view to add if it spikes out the gate; it squeezed me badly, covered most when it broke nhod; shorted later and made a little back, then longed for a little bit more

$OGXI had some o/n, added after the open; didnt take a profit when i had it, wanted more flush, instead settled for b/e

$GENE on vol - this one saved my day thankfully

$VLTC for $10 break and eod squeeze, potentially re-test highs; sold when it couldnt hold .20s

Summary of Trading:

Good trading today, 8/9 winners, just one small loss on $STV long; could have had more patience on $VLTC or looked for  another entry, but when it's a recent former runner I tend to just scalp

Trades:

$NVGN had some 4.80s long o/n, sold in pre fro 5.10s

$ITUS had some o/n (tiny long 4.80s)

$BGMD had some o/n short; got squeezed a little at the open, but it worked out ok in the end

$OHRP saw it dropping in pre and shorted some, turns out if was a seeking alpha neg article; will see how it acts at the open whether to add or take it off; decent patience there thru turbulence, position was small enough not to care too much

$STV eventually got it right

$AMRS long and short

$VLTC caught it nicely on a dip and sold into the rip

Summary of Trading:

Ok session - 6 winners 2 losers; alas didnt quite get the adds i would have liked on $MILL $CLSN, but still, ok work for a summer's day

Trades:

$SYN started some in pre, kept missing the adds on pops (was sitting on the ask instead of hitting the bid); turns out i had some good covers. will be top watch tomorrow

$CLSN same story as above, didnt get to the position size i wanted, missed the adds when it popped thru 2.70

$OGXI nice top tick exit ... was a good r/r setup though

$MILL not my day with fills, again only filled 2500sh was going for 5k

$EPRS one more trade, didnt think it'd work so quickly

$OGXI made back the loss from before

$BGMD tried twice and no go

$EPRS again - this time had some more patience
