Finished up +$400ish.
Here are the interesting trades I made today:
$PTSX +$660- took small size initially in the 1.10s fearing a repeat of $GBR, the previous nas pick from stockmister. $GBR pushed out the gate, then retraced, consolidated and then pushed 50c higher in seconds. I was prepared for the 1.30s not being the hod so took 3k in the 1.10s, covered them on the first wash in the high 80s and low 90s.
I re-shorted 2k on the $1 cross, and covered at the low 80s. I still fail to hold some for the eventual fade.
$MACK +$70 - shorted a 200 premarket at 6.70, big chase but I figured odds are it washes out at the open, covered those at 6.52, then reshorted here:
Seen this pattern before, I expected a quick and sharp drop, didnt quite happen as sharply or quickly as expected, but good for another 20c
$WPRT -$62 - played it a few times long and short and wasn't very successful. Patience with my long was what I was lacking here ... seen this pattern before and it usually end higher
$SQNM -$99 - was too patient with it, instead of taking it off for small gain or even i had to sell for a loss
$STEV $GHDC -$200 - gap plays, annoyingly both are now trading higher than my entries, had to be safe though; Not taking illiquid OTCs o/n for gapper anymore (GHDC)
$MXWL -$30 - shows how tricky nasdaq stocks can be; bout a tiny bit at 16.5 thinking it had consolidated and will have an eod run, instead it dropped almost 50c in a heartbeat
And just as quickly gained it back - I actually scooped more on this drop where normally I'd be selling for a loss here
