Given the consolidation, lowered my stop to 9.72ish
And here's the quick fade I was looking for, I covered low .60s and .56 when it seemed it might bounce off 9.55
Moments later it took low out and faded away
Lol, and this just happened (and later dropped to low 7s, but who would have known that ...):

Thanks for the clear explanation. Always learning from you. Keep 'em coming. I like the charts too, they are clearly visible than the ones before.
ReplyDeleteYes, by popular demand I've decided to capture the DAS charts. Downside is you cant see my entries/exits on the chart.
DeleteI think there is a way to set that up so you can see the entries and exits. Right click on the chart -> Select Price - > Click on "config" down below - > on the pop up window, select "Show trades". Let me know if it works for you. It does for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that - however when I right-click I get no "price" in the context menu
DeleteMy bad on the explanation above. I am assuming your broker uses DAS platform - Here is a better explanation :) - Right click on the chart -> on the menu context that pops up, select "Study config". Another window pops with "studies items" on the left and "studies on chart" on the right. Select the "Price" on the studies items list and click "select" to move it to the "studies on chart" on the right side. At the bottom of the same window, you should see a "config tab" among others. Select it and another window will come up. At the bottom of that new window called "price Config", select "show trades" at the bottom and then select commit on all windows which should close after selecting commit.
Deleteawesome, thanks a lot for the detailed instructions ... I use DAS platform over IB, so I guess we'll find out today whether the trades will appear on the screen if I send them thru IB, otherwise I'll have to use DAS for order execution ... which I should be anyway
