Blurg - wasn't aware of the time change, so was a bit surprised by the 8:30am volume ... DOH!
Tried to concentrate on fewer stocks today, main focus were $RMGN long, $AVEO and $RXII short; Did a good job of shorting pops and covering on dips overall, pleased with my trading today (this hour)
Still not feeling 100% so wrapped things up after the first hour; Couldnt really be patient with some positions due to that;
might pop back for the power hour;
+$369
UPDATE:
Added $300 trading $AXDX and $CYTX $RMGN, +686 on the day
A bit disappointed with the lack of conviction (size) I took on $RMGN given how familiar I have become with this setup
Trades:
$PNK scalped it in pre with 100sh for $80
$RMGN bought dips - looked like today's runner; got worried when it dropped to 1.4x1.41 but there were some sizeable bids at 1.4, so I avg'd down and sold when it popped; of course left $$$ on the table, however i also didnt sell when i was down $100 at 1.40 - so overall happy with this trade
$AVEO s/s a few in pre, added later; not the perfect setup and got restless when it started going sideways; gave it a few more minutes to decide which way it was heading; finally covered almost evenish, need to get some rest
$AXN filled just 500 at 1.45 and sold in the open flush for 10c
$DRRX similar story to $AXN
$GEVO on news, cut it for a small loss
$RXII overextended chart, waited for that lower high and shorted
$CYTX nice coiled daily, and liked it on a 1.2 break
$AXDX hit piece, took some puts and shorted a few on a bounce; made some $$$ on the puts but it balanced out with the short position i took which i covered for a loss
$VRX flipped 1 (one) call quickly for $100 (in 1.9 out 2.9)
$REPH took small position as i saw some buying momentum (tiny float)
$RMGN bought some on the dip with the intention of either selling into a hod pop or taking o/n as long as it closed strong; meant to sell half, somehow sold all. Will wait for a dip to re-enter
$RMGN i chased some, basically replacing the shares i didnt intend to sell ... when a stock holds so well like this, usually a close strong and gap up; took some profits along the way; added a little on a dip and then ran out of shares; overall nice trade, should have been more aggressive though
