- WAIT FOR THE REAL PARABOLIC ACTION BEFORE SHORTING AN AM MOVE (RE $ASTM)
Crazy day today, wasn't able to focus the first hour or so, because I broke my rules and shorted $ECYT in pre; was down -$2k unrealised and then it was all about minimising losses ... managed to minimise it to -$400 and then nailed it for $1 or so the next trade so that turned out ok.
Then $ASTM came and as always I'm too soon to short, and too late to cover ... that too turned into damage control, managed to short some near the top to better my avg and almost broke even in the end.
-- really need to work on nailing the entry rather than just take a position just to be in a trade, and if I do, i should at least cover it quickly, otherwise cant really see it clearly. $ASTM $ECTY both could have been monster trades had I waited for the right entry.
Ended the day well in the last hour trading on some news ($SMVR $FROZ) and $EXMT which I intended to gap but instead sold into the eod strength.

$AHII 1.52 +$180 covered half 1.42 half for b/e, good job i covered some on that quick drop
$UPIP -$300 just unbelievably idiotic - i have a post it on my monitor telling me to avoid these type of shorts where it's cleary basing at 2
then it kind of hurts when it pulls hard after you cover ...
