Trades Recap 21/05/14

Poor trading today, $IGC while I finished up on it (barely) I again was too short biased and shorted on weakness instead of pops. Generally was just a bit sloppy and took less than perfect setups.
$PVCT and $NEWL I had no borrows so missed out on huge plays.
$PHH saved my day, finished up +$550


Trade Highlights:


$FEYE flat - broke one of my (new) rules about avoiding gambling, even if in this case odds seemed in my favour.
Had a bad avg (30.25) and it gapped up $1+ ... i added a few and covered on a pullback to finish even. Got lucky here, could have been a painful -$300 lesson
$WIIM +$139 - filled only 5k shares
$NEWL -$161 - made 2 trades, both were losers; tried buying on weakness given the way it was trading i was trying to be a contrarian ... didn't work
$PHH +$558 - more luck than skill, took some puts after some material news turned out to be inaccurate (later on confirmed accurate); after one squeeze it was pretty much in a downtrend and I took profits along the way
