Trades 24/06/14

After a good day of trading yesterday, did poorly today. Overtraded, gone into trades knowing the setup wasnt perfect, misused size ... Late day with the spy dropping, my trading's improved slightly, but still overall poor effort
Finished down -$150

Lessons:

• Easy with the position sizes, I tend to go big especially when I'm down on the day ... I end up taking big positions which actually prevent me from looking for other opportunities as I'm looking at every tick ... this needs to stop

$VRTX premarket -$100 - I break my trading rules I lose money, at least i cut my losses just before that $1 drop

$ISR reversed to short - plan on holding for a long fade -$50; waited for a $3 flush and ignored it grinding against me

$AERO shorted r/g coverd 6.3-6.4 +$86
$NMED +$60 swing short, IB had only 1k shares
$ISR trying again with 3.1 risk, poor trading so far this morning ... added more 3.05 on lower highs, and finally it broke under $3, covered half 2.96, being patient with rest ... got out as it was looking like it was consolidating before a move up +$200

$XGTI blah, thought to myself good r/r and it seemed to be perking, but it was far from an ideal setup -$70

$TRIP $110 calls tiny size +$119 
$PRKR -$100 tried some for a bounce, didnt work, and didnt cut losses quickly 
$PRKR went short 1.60 covered .55 .52 for $100
$LIVE -$89 another poorly executed trade, i was up for a bit, then it went against me and i didnt take it off, just watched it fade slowly

$NURO +$40 in 2.37 out 2.47

$MU took some 32.66 on for a fade, spy fading too. spy dropped a fair bit, went g/r yet that didnt take $MU with it; covered some .52 and more on a bounce at .60, and rest at b/e +$56; meh always tough to judge whether to wait for a flush or cover ...

$INWK 7.92 with $8 risk +$25 didnt quite crack
$SINA +$86

$VRTX shorted low 93s with a wide $1 stop due to the choppiness; painful seeing it thru 94, let it peak out there a few times before I was going to cover; fat fingered an idiotic cover instead of add in the high 93s ... (facepalm), realised -$200; added when it pulled back under 93 and covered some high 92s; tried to be patient with rest - managed to just b/e - pathetic trade with that fat finger ... should have been +$200
$MU again at .50 with spy at new lows +$50 covered .30s
$FB  +$51 on spy/TWTR drop; covered some under .50 some on the bounce

$YELP -$285 just lunacy, took a far too big position and added on lod break, then it spiked the other way quickly ... blah

$WWWW long, a bit late to the party, tight stop +$73
