Frustrated with my trading today, great opportunities, but I barely capitalised on any of them. $GEVA early trade messed up my trading on it, should have put that behind me and re-focused, but I didnt and neglected to realise how good an opportunity it was.
Overall happy to get out ahead, was down $300 after the open, a nice swing to my favour after trading $CERE put me in the green;
That too got frustrating, was holding a fair bit and was happy to hold it when i was down unrealised, but as soon as i was up i immediately sold, here too missing a huge move.
---rant---
Feels like this week and its insanity had offered some huge opportunities, and while i've made more than usual, I should have been more aggressive and made x5 that ... with a bit of patience and conviction. As these weeks don't come by too often.
---rant over---
Taking a break now until the final two hours.
Trades:
$GEVO in pre on news; underestimated the news i guess, in 3.2 out 3.4
$SYMX had some 1.90s o/n, sold 2.08 in a/h, added back at 2 and sold half at 2.08 in pre
$SYMX started tiny short with 2.10 risk, will add to winner; not in my element, started good, then again with my fat finger, shorted more than i wanted right at the bottom ... covered those for a fat loss. Traded it long and short later and made most of it back
$GEVO again on breaking this downtrend. Big seller at .75, shoulda woulda sold even and re-visited, but small position so holding for the open; ended up making mess out of it, it dropped 30c after my buy, i sold, rebought and made it back on when it popped; this first buy and being down 30c messed up the rest of my trading on it, shame as it did make a pretty serious move
$CERE bought as $GEVO sympathy; worked well
$CERE again on more $GEVO momentum; had an ok entry, but then they pulled the rug from under me. I was sure it was going higher, so I added lower and eventually sold into the pops
$GEVO again
$CRMD finally sold some puts i've held for ages
$BEAT short with vwap risk
$CERE tiny here for hod break; annoyingly I was much more comfortable holding it as a loser than a winner
$GEVO like this setup here; again messed up, sized nicely, but felt uncomfortable and sold most for 5c and rode 1/4 to .80s
$GEVO again - started on a perk, added on a higher low and tried to be as patient as can be; it worked out
$WPCS awful trade, wasnt liquid enough, luckily played small. to make things worse, i was long, then shorted at the bottom of the range and covered at the top
