Trades 14/05/15

Wasn't focused enough today out the gate, too many simultaneous plays, need to really force myself to 1-2 plays rather than 4-5. Each one on their own had I focused on I would have done better than jiggling all 5
Particularly upsetting today was the second $ZAZA trade, broke two rules, re-visited a winner (was upset i sold too soon) and took an awful chase entry.

Overall a great result thanks to $VBLT and $DSCO shorts mainly, so cant complain

As a side note - from tomorrow I'll take a break from posting p&l, instead I'll post trade highlights and indicate whether I ended green or red on the day (so not a comprehensive list of all trades, rather focus on the ones with the most educational value)

Trades:

$GIGA had some o/n, sold in pre for a loss

$DSCO chased in pre, sold for -10c, apparently data wasnt great so i reversed for a s/s - worked well, adding to a winner helped in this case

$CYRN had a good look in pre on news; sold for a loss

$CADC was short o/n on it popping 30% on bad interpretation of earnings; only took 250sh given I was still worried it is a low float and could be manipulated. covered at 4 from 5 entry

$PTBI in pre on news, figured still has many shorts and could squeeze

$ZAZA planned for the long in w/l, worked great

$ZAZA knew it was a chase, but was going for homerun, bad entry unlike first trade ... and didnt cut it early enough; argh, exactly the kind of trade i got to stop making; going back to a winner and turning it into a loser ... just look at those disgusting top tick buys ... facepalm

$ICLD shorted some - got discouraged when it thrice tested lods and held; covered half for small loss, then added when it finally broke; ended up with a very small profit

$VBLT tried a few times both short and long, ended evenish until finally shorted when it was clear data wasn't that impressive. obv in retrospect shoulda woulda used more size and been more patient, but somehow couldnt quite believe it will indeed be an all-day fader ... was worried about how the float rotated and it being a crowded short; in retrospect, great covers as late day it surged back to 6+

$UEC had a huge run and looks like momentum faded a little

$AVP missed the initial spike, shorted the secondary one; covered half nicely at the bottom tick, rest for a loss, will revisit later, still looking strong

$AVP again here

$HNR not the best entry, but looked fadey (even after fading 50c from top)
