Had some pretty good trades today, shame one trade gave back almost all of today's gains; stubborn long, not respecting price action and not stopping out when i said i would; total f*ck up;
luckily $CHOP came along and i made back some $500 and ended up 500+ on the day;
still, these mistakes on $NVGN were unforgivable;
will come back for power hour, if i make any trades i'll update the log;
UPDATE:
Made some more trades in the afternoon, mainly more $VLTC and some trades in $PSTR, $NVGN and finally $CALI, see update below
Ended up $1000ish
Trades:
$VLTC had some long o/n and sold in the am
$NVGN on news, awful initial entry, didnt wait for it to settle, just bought it on the fade, added on the way down as was convicted it'll pop out the gate; it didnt and luckily after being down undrealised $500 I ended this trade in the green; bad trade, should have waited for it to settle before taking a position; went long again 6.40 added 6.10 and didnt cut it at 6 ... awful risk management here; poor poor trade, just total lack of respect to stops etc; havent had one in a while, will make sure i dont slack like this again
$EXEL on news
$CRMD shorted on news of shelf, in 8.76 out 8.2-8.5
$JRJC short; just stupid, knew as soon as i entered the trade; too close to hod, risk of squeezage ... and that indeed happened; gladly only half position
$JRJC entered long on this bullflag; that's more like it, made the loss back with some change
$ORPN silly trade, got lucky - this hadnt enough volume to go long
$VLTC chased a bit here on this squeeze and flipped it quickly for 10-15c
$CHOP longed on the dip - seems to have momentum and on record volume only less than an hour from the open; took a larger position than my usual size and it worked well; sold most near the top, rest when lx21 tweeted something negative about the company
UPDATE:
$VLTC again here, only got a partial fill
$VLTC and again here; nice timing
$NVGN
$CHOP
$VLTC again
$NVGN
$VLTC yet again; it kept failing at $6, figured 19th time lucky and expected a violent move up
$PSTR
$CALI figured it could pull a $CHOP, have 1/3 left for tomorrow
