Trades 02/12/13

Lessons:
DONT BE OVERZEALOUS AND CHASE... AT LEAST NOT WITH THE LESS VOLATILE ONES
TAKE PROFITS, YET LET WINNERS RUN ... I GUESS IT WILL COME WITH EXPERIENCE 
I'VE IMPORVED IN RECOGNISING GRINDERS, REMEMBER THAT THEY HAVE TO BE "IN PLAY" AND SOME SERIOUS VOLUME
I AM LEARNING SO NATURALLY WILL OVERTRADE HOWEVER NEED TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF SILLY TRADES FURTHER (NO WASHOUTS!!!)
FURTHER REVIEW OF MY TRADES REEMPHASIZES HOW I SHOULD STICK TO GRINDERS IN THE AM AND SHORTING IN THE PM ... 


Gappers:

$CMXI didnt managed to get out quick enough - still a good 5%
$VPIG down 1c


Longs: 

$MACK made pre highs at 4.25 so took some 4.05 with 4 risk 4.19 target target hit
$MDDD took 1k premarket and sold for -1c and avoided a bloodbath
$ARWR nice multi-day chart, breakout at $9+, took a position at 8.9 anticipating late day run. 8.80 stop; had it on a trailing stop so made 5c instead of 10c

Faders:

$MDXG 6.76 with 6.75 break to target 6.60; 6.85ish risk; stopped out wasnt a good setup
$MDXG tried again as it was setting up more nicely ... was up 10c and took 1/10 off instead of half, ended up losing 2c; moments later it did hit 6.60 but the trade didnt work out the way I planned

Grinders:

$FRO for practice, 3.36 with 3.50+ target 3.30 risk -> -1c
$GALE 4.37 with 4.32 risk 4.50 target stopped out -5c
$BOSC up huge looked grindy - managed to take 40c on a small position
$YRCW nice chart with hod of 9.90 in at 9.40 risk 10c for 50c -> out for -4c
$NVAX for 4c
$CAMT on grind in 4.80 out 2/3 4.99, 1/3 5.09
$CAMT again b/e
$GALE seemed to be grinding to nhods; in 4.43 risk 4.4 target 4.50+ for 6c
$CAMT once again before the close at 5.32 closed 5.49

Washouts:

$ZOOM looked grindy 5.30 risk 5.69 risk in at 5.45; was up 15c and didnt take it, instead took 20c loss; 

Shorts:

$XOMA small 5.30 with 5.40 risk as it was looking done was up 5c didnt take it out flat

$UVE like an idiot couldnt avoid it even though I said I would ... at least my losses were small; risked hod for 10c, and stopped out at hod (-5c)

$CCO 10.22 with 10.25 risk 10 target - took half for 10c half for 3c; wasn't cracking fast enough

$XOMA before the close a quick 6c scalp

$CCO quick scalp before the close for 4c

$YRCW quick scalp before the close for b/e
$GALE went in too heavy at 4.40 with 4.20 target 4.50 risk and got out for -4c
