Traded $BIND well, however got burnt today holding a $bioD long into the open ... didnt stop at my stoploss, thinking i need to set hard stops perhaps until i can be trusted ...
Longs:
$BIOD longed after it broke and held 2 in pre market; sold 1/3 for a profit and rest i cut it when 2 didnt hold; re-longed later; it was a chase, and i didnt respect my stop ... kept lowering it instead of sticking to it; so instead of being $100 unrealised loss it turned into $200+ and then i didnt cut it at the open and it turned into -$600 ... i was due a shitty trade, annoyed i didnt cut it at original stop, another lesson in how important it is to stick to your stops
$CYTR caught a positive PR quickly as I was watching the stock; left some on the table, but that's how i play these PRs, quick in and out; it did quickly give back its gains too, so cant complain;
$ARNA seemed to be holding higher lows in pre, worth a shot at r/g given how many are short biased; cut it right in time

Shorts:
$BIND shorted on a bounce after it was suggested data wasnt good enough to warrant such a gap up; covered half on a wash, reshorted on the 8am pop and added on analyst comments when it went crazy and spiked 50c; a bit of a rollercoaster, i was down at one point more than i was up in the end, but i didnt lose my cool and didnt cover as my stop at 8 wasnt hit; one thing to re-learn here is to be quicker with my covers on flushes and not let myself get squeezed like that, even on partial position; Additionally, the effect of being down on a trade really pushes one to cover for pennies and miss the big wash, as it happened here, but overall, content with the way i traded it; reshorted just after the bell and covered on the quick wash;
