Poor trading today, still finished green, but disappointed that I still fail to implement the so-called simple rules I should adhere to;
Revenge traded, let myself get squeezed on a day1 mover etc; my good trades were ones I initiated yesterday and closed today ($IDI $GNVC $ECTE)
Lessons:
- Be more nimble with fast moving stocks ($ZIOP), when support holds, cover and look for re-short, dont just hold and hope for it to crack;
- Patience works when it's the backside, on lower volume, day1 it's about scalping quickly
Trades:
$ZIOP traded it pooooooorly but managed to make it a profitable trade, not a lot of skill involved, i was very close to covering top tick in pre for -$500; I started way too early, let myself get squeezed, then added properly on pops to get a better average, before seeing the big picture clearly - line 1 in sand was 8.80, then 8.50; I should really be ok with quickly covering when support holds and reshort on a pop; instead I keep holding in as in case support break i want to be in it ... really minimised gains as usual by being lazy and impatient with entries;
Got squeezed to many times on it, was down much more than i was up, will learn to be nimble on day1 movers!
All trades were with IB and chart is a horrible mess ...

$RGDO just one big mess, all revenge trades for missing the initial pop off the dip i intended to play. facepalm. so avoidable. I was thinking it was going to end up like $NLST yesterday but lacked the conviction in my short after being burnt on the longs
$ECTE shorted yesterday, nice % gainer on 1k shares
$IDI same as above
$GNVC ""
$UNIS started with y'day hod risk; didnt work
$SMSI s/s 1.50 o/u - quite the extended chart; covered some 1.42 then 1.36; reshorted on a pop 1.46 and gave it back later ... went long on a nice b/o, but cut it waaaaaaaay too soon
$ETRM bought on FDA approval or something like that, and almost top ticked sell; no chart for that trade, this is my dip buy later
$FCSC long; worked well
$BBRY late day I missed most of that run, just flipped a few calls (very few) for a small profit
