Good day overall, was up $450ish in pre, then gave back on $OXGN before making it back with some change.
In retrospect $CTIC big miss of the day for me - had a nice $2 avg but settled for a quick scalp.
Other than that, my bet on $OXGN being a big runner today was my biggest loser, otherwise did ok spotting $DXM $OGXI , good dips buys on $ESI and good pre-planned short on $DATE
Could have cut $KBIO sooner, but wanted to give it a chance
Might be back for power hour depending on whether I'm finished installing new SSD drive and RAM (my DAS Trader is getting sluggish)
Trades:
$VBLT took some over the w/e 8.20s and had a GTC to sell 8.88, it filled in pre
$KBIO had some over the w/e, got a bit greedy, was up a little, then didnt cut it at even, instead lost 5c
$KBIO had some over the w/e, got a bit greedy, was up a little, then didnt cut it at even, instead lost 5c
$ONTY chased some in pre, sold as i had to drop my kid off at school; not too shabby sells
$CTIC bought some 2 in pre, sold 2/3 at 2.09 rest 2.05
$DATE nice short there on an o/e chart - missed the re-short and big flush, but wanted out once SSR hit
$OXGN perhaps a bit overzealous with my buys here, there was no need for such relative big size on this chase (3k)
$DXM popped on scanner, shouldn't have chased it really, worked alright this time
$DXM added tiny later when it seemed bullish again
$ONTY shorted twice small size
$ESI was a bit extended into this vwap reclaim, so took small position. worked well
$OGXI spotted the vol first, then the news, bought some as it is a bio company ...
$HRTX tiny position on nice setup + news; sold half then fat fingered rest (wanted to enter a sell for a dollar higher)
P&L:

Hi P128,
ReplyDeletewhat stock screener and setting for spotting intraday volume spikes on $OGXI trades? finviz or equityfeed?
On the each trading day I have running filters that are sorted by highest % gainer over a certain vol. I use IB for that, though equityfeed has the same functionality (and more)
