Trades 11/06/15

Poor poor start for the day, happens sometimes after taking a short break; started -$1000 on bad chase on $GEVO and $CJJD, made it back on good trades with good entires like $PTBI $DSKX. With some luck could have been a bigger day had I held on to $ATLC turd.
Ended up $620

Lessons:

  • Take it easy at the open when coming back from a break
  • Avoid low vol junk, stick to the liquid plays!

Trades:

$PTBI in pre, not great entry, will add on pops 8+ and then see how it acts 8 o/u; great trade

$ATOS nice short, tends to give back gains

$CJJD screwd up big time on the long, stupid chase, adn didnt cut it quick enough for -$700, made some back on the short

$IKGH made a bit of a mess with this one, was very short biased, until it broke 3, took some long and made back some of the losses on the short

$GEVO silly chase long out the gate, which i didnt cut quick enough, rusty from the two days off

$NQ what a screw up, this one tricks me every time, should have held my good avg near .50s, managed to make it into a decent trade on the second attempt; really should add to ban list and not trade this name; wish i was more patient with it ...

$DRAM long and short

$DSKX nicely managed short, shorted pops, covered dips, was sufficiently patient

$RGSE messed up the long, no patience, made it back with the small short

$RGSE re-shorted, had ample chances to take a small loss, instead got squeezed; eventually longed a few to make back some of the losses on the re-short

$ATLC popped on scanner, didnt really have the liquidity, was too risky, but it worked out, in the end i missed out a monster move, pretty annoying as this would have been a 1k trade, however it's illiquid crap and could have dropped 50% just as fast as it had gone up

$PBIB that's the flipside of an $ATLC type trade, a chase gone wrong

P&L: (Remember that's in GBP so it's about $620
