How to spot potential Gappers:

This is all pretty basic stuff, taking $AVEO as an example (closed 2.28 and reached 2.75 in pre market)

1. A Close strong (near/at highs on volume) preferably fueled by some major news

2. History of gapping up after a strong close (see the 6mts daily chart)
