Decent trading today, more relaxed, again the swing (well, 2-day) trades are the ones that worked best for me;
Disappointed I lacked the conviction to hold $ZIOP, today was perfect short on backside day.
The "only play" I keep mentioning should have been $EOPN, there was no reason to sell all along the way, and that would have easily added up to my daily goal.
Once I hit my daily goal I mainly sat back and watched and hadnt initiated any trades
Lessons:
- Get better at riding longs (RE $EOPN) - sell pops, but keep some so as long as it's uptrending
- Careful with longs after lunch; lately (for me) they don't seem to work as well as they used to
Trades:
$ZIOP had o/n short but covered 8ish before the streetsweeper bashas it was trading sideways so i feared an SSR squeeze
$IBKR long nice trade
$EDAP green risk
$CANV long will look to add on more dips; sold all on a quick scalp, tiny position
$SRNE s/s with hod risk, couldnt add more as it's on ssr; covered a little on that flush rest on that mini-grind, again proving i should keep some with original stop or at least lower stop but have some in play;
$BEBE o/n short that didnt work
$CPXX o/n short that did work out well
$EOPN .35 risk - nice trade, minimised again, wouldnt have happened had i not been focused on so many other plays
$MTW some calls on unusual call activity
$EDAP green risk

First screen not $ZIOP, it's normal?
ReplyDeletewhat is? that it dumps after streetsweeper? usually not, but in some cases when it's overextended like this then yeah. Not a reliable pattern imo
DeleteIt's my mistake. I thought that you are paste screen of $IBKR instead of $ZIOP. I traded $ZIOP too - I buy it at 8.00, hope for short squeeze. But when shows big offers at 8.00, I quickly out. But I can't short at bid on 7.96, because SSR...(
