Trades 01/12/14

Tried to be patient (swing) with a few (small) short position on $AEMD $XOMA and $BDR and paid off. Made me focus on them out the gate and add to winners.
Made some good $$$ in the first 90 minutes so decided to call it a day (this time I mean it!)

Shorts:

$XOMA not best entry but looking for a quick flush 5.8 risk; worked like a charm; reshorted partial fill on a bounce

$SOPW got out on r/g
$TNET tried once, not a good entry, trying again, 29.75 risk; not ready yet. Tried for the third time, added to a winner when it seemed to break

$OCRX 8 risk - only filled 250 of 500 shares and it then dropped $1 ...

$BDR I added to my swing short on g/r

$PEIX .80 risk

  1. Hi Parabol, what was the thought process behind PEIX?

  2. it was a risky setup, however it was trading at this 11.60 to 11.80 range and failed to breakout a number of times at .80; with .80 risk and potential g/r move the r/r was favourable. I took a small 100sh position due to the non-optimal setup.
