Decent trading today considering it felt like there wasn't much going on.
$TECU could have been a day destroyer, gladly I switched my long into a short to recoup the losses on the long (this usually doesnt work, but it did on this huge-range stock); This trade again re-emphasized the importance of staying focused the entire session - one slip, one badly timed entry and you can lose all the day's gains
Longs:
$NQ 4.05 with 4 risk for nhods; worked well; longed again on hod break, added on a dip, expecting a push to 4.50+ - it came, i sold half and was too patient with other half. sometimes patience works for you, sometimes against you ... bought shortly thereafter when 4.35 held; cut it evenishl trade no.4 at 4.31 with 4.30 basing
$OCN on higher lows; worked well
Shorts:
$OVAS with $45 risk only 100sh; covered half for $1, rest at b/e; missed one heck of a fade
$SKH from w/l with 8.9 risk; a small win
$CERS looks weak 6.6 risk; covered half on a wash, rest on a grind up
$VNDA with .60 risk; added to a winner and lowered risk to .50; covered a few for a profit,and was too patient with rest, stopped out; shorted again later when prior support at .20 became resistance; failed again; tried for the third time on a bounce and fail to break 14; finally a decent trade on it
$OCN looks a bit extended here. .60 risk; worked nicely;
