Trades 08/12/14

Another abysmal start, had made $120 on an o/n position, but then took on board 5-6 positions out the gate and found myself quickly fighting multiple fires and being down -$500 ...
That's twice in two sessions that I'm unable to stick to just 1-2 plays out the gate.
The positive at least is that usually on a day like this I'd end down $1000 or more, but instead in a *disciplined* way (as in, no bigger positions, or silly gambles) fought my way back to positive territory on the day.

Plan for tomorrow is to chill out again, trade fewer tickers ...

Longs:

$BLRX took 500 gamble ones over the w/e at 1.50 and sold for 1.75. This rarely works for me but stock was so beaten down, downside was limited
$PSEC long after it held that support, .32 risk; cut it even

$ESI making higher lows, only took a few cents as it's not a setup I'm good at

Shorts:

$VII tiiiiny in pre on $ISNS and $DGLY down much where $VII was still flat; added later and covered for a profit, last bits right before it went r/g (it then dropped 10% further)

$PSEC traded it like psecho, shorted the bottom to see if it could fall, it instead popped, i added then covered on a quick wash; then added and added higher. Covered some for b/e when .50 held, then decided to give .50 a few more chances to crack, if it can be resistance it should fade to nlods, however if not i'll cover rest for loss; traded worked out well, but would have worked so much better had i waited for pops to short into ...

$MYCC for for .25 flush, with .50 risk; started ok, but then started fighting it, adding higher and higher and accumulated a much too large position; the latter trades were smaller and more successful, but still a big foolish loss to start the day with

$NOAH on lower high and overextension 25.40 risk no go; messed up as had too many other plays going on

$IDRA what a roller coaster, that big candle scared me, wanted out on the next dip (which came quicker than i had anticipated);

$ARRY with 5 risk; covered flat, again due to concentrating on too many plays; trying again on a spike with nhod risk

$DRIV  longged that curl, fat fingered 500sh instead of 100 so got out immediately, luckily it went up ..
.50 risk this time short - worked well; shorted again similar setup with .50 risk; trying again short with 19.50 risk; didnt take a small profit when i had it

$ISIS nicely done

$TASR $20 puts - should have just used commons, though i'd probably would have been less patient with those

$SNSS on a lower high and markets taking a dump; nice trade

$FGEN trying for a fade, 29 risk; worked well, only trade tiny size due to spread

$XLRN spread was ridiculous at times but managed to short it on a pop, with spy weakness

$SPY some $207 puts on this bounce; good trade, only 3 contracts though

$TASR annoyingly dumped it flat to concentrate on $DRIV so far looks like i picked the wrong horse; tried again later on that double top, with 23.25 risk; badly mistimed the exits
