Good trading today - was focused out the gate, and made good calls for a change, and on the long side; Obv patience would have been nice on some of the plays, but I'm happy taking the quick bucks.
Lessons:
- Risk more on the high r/r setups (RE $TNA)
- Pay more attention when entering trades ... (RE $MTZ)
Longs:
$CCXI bought dips with 7.50 risk and sold on pops; great read on this, good reactionary trades out the gate there, atypical of my trading, hopefully means i'm finally learning something
$MOLG had o/n position and was soooooooo patient with it; had a $3 avg
$LLLI $DGLY $ISNS on camera rumours/news, all were nice small gains
Shorts:
$CCXI shorted in pre (doh!) 100sh, but it quickly turned into a $75 loss; shorted the 10 break and covered pretty much at hods
$TLM first attempt not so successful, better handled second round; tried again when it was stuck in a range in the 4.80s, hoping 4.80 will break; should have waited for a pop ... found a pop a few minutes later, 5.05 with 5.10 risk; like the setup here with the lower high, should fade and retest 4.80s and take it from there; nope, $5 was defended so I covered for 2c; kept trying throughout the day and most times ended up covering for 1-2c as it wouldnt break down
$CALA accumulated this one slowly with r/g risk; a bit frustrating, didnt take enough off on a pull, and covered on the grind instead; very small profit overall
$ARMK with .70 risk; not my finest trade, wasted a lot of comms and missed the mini breakdown
$CCXI shorted for the .50 break; worked well, covered .30s and .20s
$BDSI small. Didnt work, wasnt patient enough
$CTIX shorted some thinking it looks fadey and today might be the flush day;
covered in the low 70s as it seems to have held
$OAS risk at hod; only had 200sh, still nice trade
$SN - on lower high, with 7 risk; nice trade
$TNA small, 100sh with risk to hod; r/r was so good should have risked more
$FRO with hod risk; didnt work, need to remember not to try shorting close to hod
$MTZ filled 1k meant 500, quickly covered 500 for a loss, kept rest and covered those for a profit to just b/e on the trade; that fat finger cost me a good trade
