Pooor trading today, was up 250+ on gappers and made a few good trades out the gate, and then gave a bunch back. Pretty upset with how I traded $NQ, shoulda woulda been the slam dunk trade of the day, just had to be patient and wait for the open instead of starting in early in premarket; easy, predictable 70c that should have been
$CERS i messed up very badly, had a nice trade in the am, and then all subsequent trades were chases;
Oil I kept trading even though i told myself five times to stop trading them as i wasnt doing a good job at it; especially poor was my $BAS trade
Longs:
$AGEN $APP had position o/n which I sold for a nice profit; $AGEN was a no brainer setup, APP I'm a bit upset about, reasons for longing o/n were good, however my avg was 1.02 and after the close it was down at .97; so when it gapped in the AM to 1.03 i took most off ... had i not been aware of being down unrealised i would have probably stuck to the plan and sold in the mid 1 teens. Emotions got the better of me on that setup
$IMGN 5.50 risk; nice rip sold for 15-20c; longed again on trend, sold half for 10c and rest for +15c, nicely done, except perhaps a little more patience would have been nice
$ZAGG looking for g/r move; got it
$AGEN bought this long setup; wasnt quick enough to cut it
Shorts:
$CERS 6.9 risk covered in the 70s; reshorted later and covered for a loss; shoudl have covered when it didnt breakdown at .60; reshorted at .80 with .85 risk; messed that up too, shorted on weakness which is a no-no
$NQ what a crappy avg i had premarket instead for waiting til the open ... it then came back, didnt add to a lower higher and covered for a profit
$FMD shorted 5.10 and added on 5 break, covered half 4.70, added at 5ish
$DNR $GDP on oil weakness; DNR worked ok GDP not so much
$IMGN shorted that push to 6.25; nicely done.
$DNR $BAS $GDP short again with hod risk; BAS awful, should have left it alone. DNR woudlnt break; BAS at least i stopped out early, otherwise coudl have turned into one nasty(ier) loss; GDP i cut at hod
